Now in its 8th year, MetroCon has grown from a small fan gathering to one of the Midwest’s most anticipated pop culture events. What started as a weekend celebration of anime and comics has expanded into a multi-genre experience spanning TV, film, gaming, cosplay, and independent art.

Each year, over 25,000 fans gather at the Midwest Convention Center in Chicago for three days of celebrity panels, exclusive screenings, gaming tournaments, cosplay competitions, and hundreds of vendors and artists. MetroCon is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming space for fans of all ages and backgrounds.
